Vientiane Stopover 3 days

vientiane

Day 1: Vientiane (D)

You’ll be met at the airport and driven to your hotel. You have the rest of the day free to explore Laos’ tranquil and beautiful capital. In the evening enjoy a Lao dinner accompanied by traditional music and dance.

Day 2: Vientiane (B, L)

You have the whole day to discover Vientiane at your own pace. Visit Wat Sisaket with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues, the huge golden That Luang monument, and Vientiane’s own Victory Monument, which looks like the Arc de Triomphe. Don’t miss lovely Wat Prakeo. In the afternoon, a visit to Xieng Khouan Buddha Park is a must. Here a renegade Buddhist monk formed his own sect and began to carve magnificent, eerie statues out of concrete, based on Hindu, Buddhist and Brahman iconography. It’s a unique and surreal place full of great photographic opportunities!

Day 3: Vientiane (B)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
